Terms of Service

These terms explain the conditions for using DuoCanvas and this website, provided by the developer of DuoCanvas. Please read them before using the app. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. You can contact the developer at changboa66@gmail.com.

1. Using DuoCanvas

DuoCanvas is an iPhone tool for editing photos and videos, making collages, splitting photos, and stitching long images. The current editing features are free and do not require a DuoCanvas account. Any future paid offering would disclose its price and terms before you choose to purchase it.

Use the app and website lawfully. Do not use them to infringe copyright, privacy, or other people's rights, or attempt to interfere with their security. These terms do not restrict uses or rights that applicable law protects.

2. App license and Apple terms

The app and its built-in software, designs, and materials belong to the developer or their respective licensors. Downloading the app does not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

App Store downloads and use are also subject to the applicable Apple terms, including Apple's Standard End User License Agreement where it applies. These service terms supplement those terms and do not replace Apple's applicable license or limit your mandatory consumer rights.

3. Your photos, videos, and other content

You keep your rights in the photos, videos, and text you bring into DuoCanvas. Editing your content does not transfer those rights to us. We do not claim ownership of your original media or require a license to publish it on our behalf.

You are responsible for having permission to use and share the content you select, including any necessary permission from people shown in it. Only share an export when you are satisfied with its content. Using a built-in material does not grant rights to someone else's photo, brand, music, or other protected content.

4. Local editing, saving, and exports

Photo and video editing takes place on your device. DuoCanvas does not provide cloud backup or account sync. Current editing sessions are not automatically saved as projects: leaving an editor or closing the app can discard unsaved work. Save or share a finished export before leaving if you want to keep the result.

Existing projects from older versions may remain on the device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Editing an existing project does not automatically update that saved copy. Files already exported to Photos or another destination are separate from the app's local files.

Keep your original media and any important exports backed up. We cannot recover local files that are lost or deleted. Review the preview and output before relying on an export; dimensions, quality, available storage, and the destination app's limits can affect the result.

5. Privacy and optional analytics

Our Privacy Policy explains how the app and website handle information. Optional usage analytics is off unless you agree, and you can turn it off in Settings. Your selected photos, videos, and entered text are not uploaded to us as part of editing or usage analytics.

If you email support or share an export through another service, you choose what to send. Apple, Cloudflare, email providers, and any sharing destination operate under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

6. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep DuoCanvas useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, file, operating system update, or sharing destination. Features may change as the app is updated.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without additional guarantees beyond those required by law or the applicable app license. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Changes and stopping use

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. Updates apply prospectively; material changes will be identified on this page and, where required, notified or agreed to separately. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law. You can stop using DuoCanvas at any time.
